"Make a Splash—READ!" is the theme this summer at the Lang Memorial Library. Children will explore the world of water and water fun through stories, songs, games and other activities about oceans, rivers, lakes, and pools and the creatures that live there. The 2010 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through adult, with programs, prizes, story hours, a reading club, and more. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program. Registration for the Summer Reading Program is in progress so don't forget to sign up! Ask a librarian for more informatin or call the library at 626-2101.
All programs are free of charge.
Heart and Hands Quilt Club donated $100.00 to the Lang Memorial Library from the Christmas Quilt Drawing. The funds will be used to help match the Gates Computer Grant funds. The quilt was made during their Tuesday gathering at the library. Thanks Hearts & Hands!
